Is It Time?
Older doors lose insulation efficiency, develop rust, and start needing frequent repairs. At some point, replacement is more cost-effective than continued patching.
When a door takes a serious hit — from a vehicle or a severe storm — the panels, tracks, and frame can be compromised beyond what individual repairs can fix.
Uninsulated or poorly insulated doors are a major source of heat loss in winter and heat gain in summer. A new insulated door can make a noticeable difference in comfort and utility costs.
If you've had multiple repairs in the past couple of years and something new keeps breaking, you're likely spending more keeping an old door alive than a replacement would cost.
Your garage door is one of the most visible elements of your home's exterior. A new door is consistently one of the highest-ROI home improvement projects, especially before a sale.
Older doors may lack modern auto-reverse safety features. Newer doors and openers meet current safety standards, which is especially important if children or pets are present.

Most single-car door installations take 3–4 hours. A two-car door typically takes 4–6 hours. That includes removing the old door, installing the new door and all hardware, hooking up the opener, and running through final testing. We'll give you a more specific time estimate when we schedule your installation.
We work with several reputable manufacturers to offer a range of price points and styles. During your consultation, we'll show you options that fit your home's look, your insulation needs, and your budget. We stand behind every door we install.
Yes — removing and disposing of the old door is included in our installation service. You don't need to do anything with it beforehand.
Usually yes, as long as the opener is in good working condition and compatible with the new door's weight. We'll evaluate your current opener during the installation and let you know if a new unit makes more sense. If your opener is over 10 years old, it's often worth upgrading at the same time.
Non-insulated doors are single-layer steel or aluminum — lighter, less expensive, and fine for detached garages or mild climates. Insulated doors have one or two layers of foam insulation sandwiched between steel panels. They're heavier, quieter, more durable, and significantly better at regulating temperature — worth the extra cost for attached garages or any space you use regularly.
