We Handle It All
If the door has jumped its tracks — from a vehicle hit, broken cable, or worn rollers — we'll realign it safely and identify what caused it.
Cables are critical to safe operation. A snapped or fraying cable causes the door to hang crooked or drop. We replace both sides to keep it balanced.
Dented or cracked sections can often be replaced individually without replacing the entire door. We source matching panels for most major manufacturers.
Bent tracks cause binding, scraping, and eventually a door that won't move at all. We straighten, realign, or replace tracks as needed.
Worn rollers are a leading cause of noisy doors and off-track issues. Nylon rollers are quieter; steel rollers are more durable. We'll match the right type to your door.
Cracked or missing bottom seals and side weather stripping let in cold, water, and pests. A quick seal replacement makes a big difference in comfort and energy costs.
Bent hinges or worn hardware cause sections to flex awkwardly, putting extra stress on the whole system. We replace damaged hardware and tighten everything down.
Backed into the door? It happens. We assess the damage — panels, tracks, springs, and frame — and give you an honest picture of what's repairable vs. what needs replacement.
Grinding, squeaking, and banging are your door's way of asking for attention. A full tune-up — lubrication, hardware tightening, roller and hinge inspection — quiets things down.

Door stuck open or off-track?
Don't try to force it — you can cause more damage or injure yourself. Keep the area clear and call us.
816.289.9600Common Questions
No. An off-track door is a serious safety hazard — it can fall unexpectedly and cause injury or damage. Stop using the door entirely, disconnect the opener, and call us. Do not try to force the door back into the tracks yourself; it requires specific tools and technique to do safely.
Often individual panels can be replaced without replacing the whole door, which is much more cost-effective. The key factors are whether matching panels are still available for your door model and whether the damage is confined to one or two sections. We'll assess it on-site and tell you honestly whether replacement panels make sense or if a new door is a better value.
Grinding usually means a roller is worn or broken, a hinge is bent, or the door is slightly off-track and rubbing against the track. Scraping often points to loose hardware or a section that's sagging out of alignment. In many cases, a tune-up with roller replacement and lubrication solves the problem completely. We'll diagnose the specific cause when we're there.
If the door frame (the actual wood or metal structure around the door opening) is damaged, or if the door is very old and has had multiple issues, replacement may make more financial sense. But if the door itself is structurally sound and the problem is mechanical — springs, cables, rollers, opener — repair is almost always the better option. We'll give you an honest recommendation, not one driven by which is more profitable for us.
